For Charlie, dog training runs in the blood. Three generations on his maternal side worked as trainers for military and police organizations around the world, but he found his own way to the work — growing up with Rottweilers taught his not to fear dogs, but to respect them, understand them, and appreciate what each one brings. What started as a personal interest became a lifelong calling.

He trains because he believes education and rehabilitation save lives. With countless dogs entering helters every year and many never getting a second chance, his focus is never only the dog in front of his — it's the owner beside it. When pet parents have the knowledge and skills to lead their dogs well, fewer dogs are surrendered, rehomed, or euthanized. That mission runs through everything he does, from family pets to rescues to dogs with serious behavioral challenges.

His philosophy rests on continuous learning, compassion, and accountability. As he puts it, "the day I think I know everything about dogs is the day I should stop training." Beyond individual sessions, Charlie advocates for stronger animal protections and supports rescue and rehabilitation efforts — because to his, training is about better outcomes for dogs, their owners, and the communities they share.
