Open the Halo app, search for an address or zoom into any location on the satellite map, and tap to generate a fence. The app can auto-generate a boundary based on property lines, or you can place fence posts manually with a tap to draw a fully custom shape. Fences can be as small as 900 square feet (roughly a single campsite) or as large as 1,200 square miles. Any boundary can be adjusted, resized, or reshaped after creation. When a fence is created or updated in the Halo app, the GPS coordinates transfer directly to the collar's onboard memory via Bluetooth. Fence Creation

In the Halo app, you search an address, drop a pin, or zoom into a satellite view to place fence posts. One-tap creation generates a fence aligned with property boundaries and Halo Fence guidelines. Manual placement allows fully custom polygon shapes with unlimited fence posts.

Bluetooth Sync

The fence's GPS coordinates are transferred from the app to the collar's onboard memory via Bluetooth. The sync takes seconds and can be done at the location or in advance - even from your living room, before a trip begins. You do not need to know your exact site in advance. A fence can be created anywhere you have an internet connection - at home, at a rest stop, or on arrival - and only that creation step needs a connection. Satellite Lock

When the dog steps outdoors, the collar's dual-frequency GPS receiver locks onto satellites in 2–3 seconds using Assisted GPS (EPO). On-Collar Processing

Reconnection (When Available)

Step 01: Before You Leave

Charge the collar to full - roughly 60 minutes on the magnetic cable - and check the strap fit, two fingers between strap and neck. If you already know the address, build the fence and sync it now so it is waiting on the collar when you arrive. If the destination is remote, plan to build the fence at your last stop with service.

Step 02: On Arrival
