The Halo Collar strap has three sizes that fit dogs who are 5 months and older, 20lbs+ (9kg+), and have a neck size anywhere from 11 in. to 30.5 in. (28cm to 77.5cm).

To measure your dog’s strap size:

• Place a tape measure (or a string) around your dog’s neck, and hold both ends together
• Ensure that you are measuring high on your dog’s neck, but still underneath their chin and ears
• Tighten the tape measure until you can fit 2 fingers comfortably between the neck and tape measure
• Check the length on your tape measure and match to the corresponding size in the chart
• Your dog’s collar strap can be adjusted according to their best fit once you receive their Halo Collar

The Halo Protection Plan

The Halo Protection Planis included with all Halo Subscription Plans (Basic, Silver and Gold). Replacement collars cost $449, or $399 for Halo Pack members who signed up for a Gold Plan when selecting a Subscription Plan or have maintained a Gold Plan for 3 months or longer.

Reasons you may need to replace your collar include, but are not limited to:

• Upgrading to a newer version/generation of the Halo Collar
• Accidental damage – including wear and tear
• Loss or theft of your Halo collar

Halo Care

Halo Care allows you to buy a replacement dog collar for $149 for any reason with a monthly subscription of $9.99 per collar.

There are two ways you can manage your Halo Care enrollment from the My Account page:

1. Enable “Halo Care Auto-Enrollment” at any time – such as when first signing up for your Halo subscription plan. This option will automatically enroll any collar you activate on your account moving forward.
2. Add a collar to your account using the Halo app (“activate” your collar). Then, enroll that collar in Halo Care on your My Account page within 60 days.

NOTE: If you do not enroll any individual collar in Halo Care within 60 days of purchase, that collar is no longer eligible for Halo Care.

You’re never required to use static with your dog’s Halo, and it is entirely optional. However, some dogs respond best to static feedback for a variety of reasons. Some dogs simply don’t feel vibrations through thick coats or due to their high level of focus. Other dogs actually find it to be far less surprising than vibration prompts! This is because it creates a pulsing sensation that simulates a sense of touch, whereas vibration creates a buzzing sensation with a sound.

Halo Collar is not a “shock collar”. When approaching a boundary, your dog will receive a customizable warning. This activates your dog’s associative memory, and your dog will learn that a warning means “keep away” from the boundary and “come back” to safety. Warnings simply serve as reminders to turn back around toward home! After that, two more tiers of preventions (Boundary, then Emergency Feedback) are applied if your dog is distracted and ignores the boundary.

Each of the three types of preventions are completely customizable according to your preferences and your dog’s learning style.
