Today’s article covers the user experience improvements that you’ll see in the iOS and Android versions of the Halo App, respectively.
iOS Improvements
“No Internet Connection” Notification
If your phone is offline, you will receive a notification on the My Map tab to alert you that “Your phone has no internet connection”. This serves as a reminder that your dog’s location on the map may not update without a network connection. However, a lost internet connection does not affect your dog’s collar GPS, or the function of your dog’s Halo Fences. Your dog’s Halo will continue working autonomously to keep them safely inside their boundaries. This popup can be dismissed at any time.

Android Improvements
‘Add Collar’ Improvement
It is now easier than ever to add a collar to your account! Simply scan the QR code on the back of the collar to quickly register it in your Halo App.
Warning Area Visibility
The Warning Area just inside of your Halo Fence boundary is now visible whenever you are creating or editing a fence. This indicates where your dog will begin to receive feedback if they are approaching the fence.
Pet Customization
Personalize your Halo experience! You can now select a color for your dog, which will be used in the app, as well as on the Halo Logo LED of your dog’s collar. You can also add a picture of your pup to their profile, and it will show this picture on the My Map screen.
